Music in my life

"The Neighbourhood"

When someone talk to me about music, the first memory that come to my mind it’s my mother listening Chayanne and Silvio Rodriguez, so music has always been in my life, the music can change my mood so easily, I can be very sad but I listening a pop, or salsa song and I can’t avoid starting to dance or sing (even when I’m not a good singer).

I really like every kind of music, but I’m not a big fan of heavy metal, and cumbia. Nevertheless I really enjoy styles like Latin pop, alternative rock, and romantic ballads (although I have to confess that my guilty pleasure is listening bachata songs). I don’t play any instrument (not even the flute) but I find really interesting the drums because you have to have a lot of coordination to play it, and I think that’s very difficult, maybe one day I’d learn to play it.  

My favourite band is “The Neighbourhood” since 2016 if I remember well, actually I don’t listen to it everyday but this is the band that makes me travel in time, and that it’s magic.

When I was a kind I loved bands like Jonas Brothers, Camila or Reik (really different, I know) I don’t listening Jonas Brothers anymore, but I still listening Camila at least one a week, because I absolutely enjoy love songs.

I usually don’t pay attention about the music of the films, but I remember a film called “Les Choristes”, and that soundtrack it’s really emotional and make cry everytime that I see the movie. Also I enjoy musical films like High School Musical (when I was younger, obviously) and Les Miserables.

In conclusion music is everywhere, and it’s important that we recognize its power and history.
