Changes to my study programme
I think making any change is difficult,
even when it’s a little, so think about changing my study programme is a very huge
challenge. When I was a secondary student I always imagined the University as a
magical place, with lovely teachers, a novel method of study, an amazing building
and things like that…but when the time arrives, everything was so different.
The University is a magical place, that is
true, but even when we have fun, and make new friends, is not that easy, the
teachers although they are friendly, are very demanding and I think they forgot
they were students. Being a first year student is really complicated and stressful,
because for the first time our lives are our responsibility! So if the teacher were more empathic would be
nice.
It our problem too, we’re used to be competitive
and indifferent, that doesn’t help us or let us grow and develop, it would be
really great if the University give us more instances to know us.
Even when the building is old, I really
like it, because is easy find your classroom or the offices, and they are
technologically enough according to me. I love the green areas even when they
are few; being there is relaxing and peaceful.
I really like the curriculum, of course I
would prefer have fewer maths, but I know it will be useful in some point. About
the classrooms and comparing with other faculties I think the classrooms aren’t
well supplied, there are not enough tables (without counting that my notebook
hardly fits).
Talking about the teaching methods is
difficult, because is so personal, obviously I really like the teaching
techniques of some teachers, but I think if we work together and we talk about it, it would be better.
You are right. This is our first year and it's natural be a little scared, and our faculty is cute (although we can't sit on the grass) :3
ReplyDeleteyeah, nothing can be placed on the tables XD
ReplyDeleteWe really need more tables, specially in the labs :c
